Wear it often. Jewellery is meant to live on skin, not in a drawer, the natural oils from your skin actually keep the shine alive.

Give it a home. When it's resting, keep it in a sealed pouch or a box with anti-tarnish paper, away from air and light.

Clean it gently.
Use the polishing cloth included with your piece, or any off-the-shelf silver cleaner works just as well, a gentle wipe is all it takes to bring back the shine.

Keep it away from chemicals. Perfume, lotion, chlorine, cleaning products, none of them are friends to your jewellery. Best to take it off before showering or swimming.
