Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with Kalt Jewellery. Every piece is handmade, and we want it to reach you safely. This page explains how shipping works.

1. Processing Time

• Ready-to-ship items are dispatched within 1-3 business days after your order is placed.
• Made-to-order pieces are crafted for you and take 1-3 weeks to make before dispatch. The estimated production time is shown on the product page, and we will keep you updated if anything changes.

Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding Danish public holidays.

2. Shipping Destinations

At the moment we ship within Denmark only.

3. Carriers and Delivery Time

We ship with DAO or GLS. Once your order is dispatched, delivery usually takes 1-5 business days (1-2 business days with express delivery).

When your parcel is shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number so you can follow it.

4. Shipping Costs

The final shipping cost is always shown at checkout before you pay.

5. Lost, Damaged or Delayed Parcels

If something goes wrong with your delivery, please follow these steps:

Parcel not received

1. Check your tracking link and the pick-up point notification, as parcels are held at the pick-up point for a limited number of days.
2. If the tracking shows “delivered” but you have not received it, or if the parcel is more than 5 business days late, email us at kaltjewellery@gmail.com with your order number.
3. We will open an investigation with the carrier. This can take up to 7 business days.
4. If the parcel is confirmed lost, we will send you a replacement at no extra cost or issue a full refund, whichever you prefer. Made-to-order pieces will be remade, and the production time will be communicated to you.

Parcel damaged on arrival

1. Take photos of the packaging and of the item as soon as you receive it.
2. Email us at kaltjewellery@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving the parcel, with your order number and the photos.
3. We will arrange a replacement or a full refund after reviewing the photos.

Wrong or incomplete address
Please check your address and contact details carefully at checkout. If the parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect address, or because it was not collected from the pick-up point, we will contact you to arrange reshipping. Additional shipping costs may apply.

6. Returns and Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason.

How to return an item

1. Fill up the form within 14 days of receiving your order, stating your order number and that you wish to withdraw.
2. Send the item back to us within 14 days of notifying us. We will give you the return address.
3. The item must be unworn, unused and in its original condition and packaging.
4. Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the item has a production defect, in which case we cover the return shipping cost. We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot be responsible for parcels lost on their way back to us.

Refunds
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will refund the purchase price (and the original standard shipping cost) to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice. We may wait until the item has arrived back before issuing the refund.

Exceptions
The right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made or personalised items, i.e. pieces made to your specifications (for example custom designs, engravings or special sizes made on request).

If your item arrives faulty or not as described, please contact us right away. Your statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected.
